If you answered yes to any of these questions, we invite you to join us in a transformative 5-week "Work That Reconnects for Biocultural Diversity" series. Together, we will create a supportive community space to reflect on our world, express gratitude for the present, process our collective concerns, ground ourselves in the broader perspective of deep time, view our challenges with fresh eyes, and embark on a journey to intentionally create empowering spaces for yourself and those you aim to impact. Our foundation will be rooted in deep ecology, systems thinking, and healing-centered practices, beginning with your personal journey and then expanding outward to your roles and organizations. We will explore the interconnectedness of self-care, community care, and Earth Care.
Inspired by Joanna Macy's "Work That Reconnects," which draws wisdom from deep ecology, systems theory, and spiritual traditions, this workshop will serve as a sanctuary for activists, change makers, and educators to navigate and process the emotions stirred by today's ecological and social challenges. We will delve into transformative practices and grapple with the concept of decolonizing ourselves, our initiatives, and the spaces we inhabit within our communities. Participants will follow the spiral of "The Work That Reconnects," moving from gratitude, honoring the world's pain, reconnecting with past and future generations in deep time, seeing the world through new perspectives, and embarking on action. Together, we will explore how to integrate this work into your unique roles as change makers , empowering those you influence in the pursuit of a more life-sustaining society.

Cost: $180, with scholarships available, and a commitment to allocate 20% of the profits to a scholarship fund for indigenous educators through Tierra Indígena Montessori.
